Sizzling Soup

In these Snowy and cold season, everybody love to treat their soar throats with hot and spicy mishmashes :)When we come back to home in these freezing temperatures we love to Snug as bug in rug.Coming in to the begining of the year most of us have a pluck of eating Healthy & Fresh.

Genereally they make soups with stocks some make them at home some buy in stores,it's is fine if u make them at home but the store bought are not at all good..In my recipe i havent used any stock as i look for quick recipes :)

How to Make :

  • Heat oil  and add cubed vegetables as u desire here i have used carrot, celery, cabbage, tofu, mushroom.
  • Add some crushed garlic and ginger let them fry for a min
  • Add around 6 to 7 glasses of water
  • Place the lid and let them boil for 20min or pressure cook for 8 to 10 whistles.
  • Remove the lid add some soya sauce, chillisuace, vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Adjust the suaces according to ur taste
  • In a sperate bowl take 1tpsp cornstarch make in to thick paste with out any lumps
  • Add to the boling soup and stir it well
  • If u need soup to be more thick add another spoon of starch.
  • In a seprate bowl break a egg and whisk well and drop in the soup with continous stiring.
  • Garnish with Spring onion and coriander leaves

Sizzling & Healthy Hot and Sour Soup is Ready.

Note:  If u add homemade broth will give u a rich taste
U can chicken pieces along with vegetables if u wish.
Fry the Veg with sesame/peanut oil which gives nice flavour.

Try this Hot and sour recipe and let me know ur feedback!!!

Love to see u back in comments..

the addition of the egg is enteresting. I generally make the broth in winter without the starch and the egg. But i quite like the idea. shall try it sometime soon.
